The two days were valuable in getting the team together to air our ideas, feelings, positive experiences and things that upset us.
It would have been good to have more time to finish the plans but we will get this arrange in work time.
 
Tony’s style allowed everyone to contribute and created a participatory environment which was great.

I found the work shop full of useful information and tips that will help me in both my work and personal life. It was a good reminder of how important goal setting and planning are if you want to succeed in life.

I liked Tony’s style, he kept it interesting and fun; he was a great person for the job. I enjoyed the personality profiles the most and it was great to learn about other people’s personalities and what makes them tick.

I think the DOPE test is a great tool in making everyone aware of how the others in the team want to be treated and their strengths and weaknesses, and I think that is a great start to being able to work better together as a team.

Hi Tony,

Just a quick note to say I had a great time participating in the course last week, The material was very easy to follow and kept me engaged at all times.

I was going over my notes (so unlike me) and the key learning for me was to keep in mind the different styles people have and use their style when working with them, not my own as this will have the pigeons falling of their perches.

Fantastic to meet with you and a pleasure to Taxi you around, just imagine how much fun the world would be if every one had the opportunity to complete your training course.

Thank you very much for coming up from Wellington last week to take us through your Leading Teams workshop. Personally I found this very beneficial and am already trying to make some changes. Finding out how strong a Dove I was at this stage in my life was a little surprising but made me realize that there was some changes that I needed to make and I am really looking forward to doing so.

I also enjoyed learning what type of "Birds" my peers were, this certainly opened up my eyes as to why something’s happen they way they do and what I need to do to communicate with them better.

Overall I was very impressed with the course. I think it's great that the team will take a clearer direction out of this and now have the structure to put a plan or plans in place to achieve our goals.

"Was engaged enough yeah, his style was good. Best was the Dope test, rationalised the personas within the team rather well I thought. The takeouts may be useful, not sure, although the grid thingy he’d created will be a good toy for SA graduation day.”

I thought Tony was great, liked his laid back approach to the course I had no lapse of memory (wasn’t bored!) so he defiantly kept me engaged with the group exercise’s that he had (it wasn’t all about him talking which was great).

Probably the DOPE was most useful to me, to understand how I fit into Telecom and what I need to change to be more efficient at my job. Hopefully this is what your after.
